Our client, an international organisation is well versed in providing their customers with innovative and technology focussed solutions.  They are currently looking to recruit a Data Engineer to join their critical transformation program.

 

As a Data Engineer you will design re-usable solutions using existing patterns and creating new patterns where necessary. You will build and test data pipelines using best practices and data quality standards.  You will also deploy applications through RTL and to production whilst liaising with support team and ensure handover is done effectively and within a timely manner.

 

Skills & Experience:-

  • Excellent experience working with Hive, Spark and Scala
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to create high quality documentation for knowledge base
  • Strong working knowledge of DataProc, Big Query, DataFlow, Python
